[unpadchoir.com Bandung, 03/05/2022] – As a form of friendship and social service, on April 29, 2022, the Padjadjaran University Choir (Unpad Choir) held a social service activity at the Al-fien orphanage located on Jalan Sariasih I No. 2, Sarijadi, Bandung City.

This activity aims to pay attention to orphanages in the form by providing food supply and sharing the joy of the holy month of Ramadan. Various series of planned events filled the warmth and happiness at the social service event at that time. Starting from singing together, playing a series of games, to sharing stories.

Al-Fien orphanage children feel very entertained by the presence of Unpad Choir members, this can be seen from the very high enthusiasm in every activity. Considering that during this year’s Ramadan holiday, the children of the Al-Fien orphanage were unable to return to their hometown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the presence of Unpad Choir has at least filled the loneliness they felt.

Tariq as the chief executive of this event expressed his gratitude for holding this event. “Alhamdulillah, in the end, social services can be held again to share blessings and happiness with the children of the Al-Fien orphanage. Alhamdulillah, this year’s social service event also went smoothly and was held offline by visiting the orphanage foundation directly,” he said. Even though he was unable to attend the social service at that time, Tariq advised him to continue to share blessings, not only to stop at this social service but to increase the sense of caring for others out there.

Unpad Choir hopes that the next social service can help more people in need out there. Hopefully, this activity can be a special memory for Unpad Choir members and the children of the Al-Fien orphanage.

Adlan Mazaya as the logistics division who chose the Al-Fien orphanage as the place for the event hopes that the presence of Unpad Choir at the Al-Fien orphanage can motivate and encourage the orphans to continue studying and achieve their goals.

The management of the Al-Fien foundation was also very appreciative and enthusiastic about the presence of the Unpad Choir. It is hoped that this social service activity can continue and can provide benefits to other orphanage children.
