[BANDUNG unpadchoir.com] Unpad Choir’s Kontributif Cabinet 2020 has been running for three months since the cabinet was created in December 2019. Every year, every new Unpad Choir’s cabinet holds a bonding activity at the beginning of the new period, in order to bond the members of the cabinet with each other. This bonding also aims to apply the value that Unpad Choir has, also to the value of the cabinet, which will be useful as the cabinet goes on for a year. 

This bonding activity, as the same as before, was held in the field of Secretariat of the Western Student Activity Unit (known as UKM Barat), Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor. On Saturday (14/03), the morning’s weather was clear, and all members of Kontributif Cabinet had gathered to start the bonding activity that was facilitated by the Organizational Development division. Every division in the Kontributif Cabinet had used various attributes and the same clothes with their respective division members to show cohesiveness. There was a division that wore bright yellow shirts with unique name tags, some other divisions wore green ponchos with stickers as a sign of their division, there was also a division that came casually, with all black clothes. This bonding activity was a place for creativity of each division, to show their spirit and enthusiasm on this activity, which is one of many other activities. 

Many games were played in this bonding activity. The first game was each member of the cabinet making a large circle, and playing the game where we have to say their name, one by one repeatedly with rhythm. There are some members that said the name incorrectly with the rhythm, that finally have to gather and given a funny punishment. The next game was making a palace frame with a straw. The members are divided into several groups to be contested in making the tallest and most sturdy palace frame. After that, the noon came, the bonding activity was paused to have some lunch time. The members who had been told to bring their lunch then made a big circle, to exchange the food with another member. During the lunchtime, the members were required to eat while pairing with another different division, in order to get to know each other better.

After lunchtime, the game was resumed. The game is called “Kepala Ekor Naga”, which is as exciting as the previous game. In this game, there are only two groups divided to be able to play. Each of those two groups made two long lines and faced each other. Two people in front of the row should be able to pick a piece of colored paper on the back of the opposing group members. This game requires a lot of energy because the members had to run, to protect themselves. 

At the end of the event, the MC announced groups and divisions that won in games and other categories in this cabinet’s bonding activity, such as the winner of the best costume, the best yells, and many other things. With this bonding activity, we hope that the members of the cabinet will have great enthusiasm in carrying out a year of the Kontributif cabinet. Also for the members to get to know each other well.
