This activity is usually carried out by the Padjadjaran University Choir (PSM Unpad) under the name Musyawarah Besar (Mubes) to report the management’s responsibilities for all activities and work programs during the one year management period.

In addition, the Great Conference is also an activity carried out to find a president and staff in the next management period. Usually, the Great Conference is held offline but has become online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Great Conference of Unpad Choir is led by a Presidium who manages the conference from beginning to end. Attended by Kang Arvin Zeinullah as the main trainer, technical team, alumni, staff, and active members of Unpad Choir.

Unpad Choir 2021 management with the cabinet named Sahitya chaired by Muhammad Al Riyadh with his Vice Ridhadiyanti Wedia Rahayu, have reported their responsibilities for a one-year management period at the Unpad Choir Great Conference activities on Saturday and Sunday 18-19 December 2021. This Great Conference activity ran smoothly and many of the participants actively gave evaluations to the Sahitya Cabinet for the management they had passed. After his success in leading the Unpad Choir and with the receipt of the Sahitya Cabinet work program accountability report, the management of the Unpad Choir 2021 Sahitya Cabinet has been officially completed.

“One of the biggest obstacles faced by Sahitya’s cabinet this year is the communication process which is not 100% good. Of course, the distance between the staff is a big obstacle. Despite having started hybrid programs and disseminating information through the management group platform, the distribution of information still feels uneven to all staff. On the other hand, the adaptation process which is quite fast makes this management successful because it can adapt programs that support the vision and mission of Unpad Choir even in the limited pandemic conditions.” Al Riyadh said.

On this occasion, Al Riyadh also conveyed a message for the next management as well as entrusted the mandate to Unpad Choir. “For the next management, I advise you to remain easy to adapt to all circumstances and to facilitate communication and all efforts that can be made so that all members of staff can fight together for one year of management”.

The Great Conference activity was continued with the election of the Unpad Choir chairman for the 2022 period. There were two candidates for the Unpad Choir’s chairperson, including the first candidate was Birgitta Fortune Mumpuni Alto 1 2019 from the Faculty of Economics and Business and the second candidate was Firdausya Garnis Pramesti Alto 1 2019 from the Faculty of Communication Science.

The selection of the Unpad Choir’s Chair candidate was carried out by means of discussion to reach a consensus. The candidates then conduct a brief campaign and there is a question and answer session at the end of the campaign. After the campaign was over, all the deliberation participants discussed and argued about the two candidates to determine who would be the chairman of PSM Unpad for the next period. From the results of the deliberation, the participants agreed that the Chair of the Unpad Choir for the 2022 period was Birgitta Fortune Mumpuni, who brought the Progressio cabinet which means increase, growth, and progress.

“I am touched and grateful because I was given the trust to carry out a very large mandate. but in addition, there is a sense of responsibility in maintaining the name of PSM Unpad properly. Hopefully, the Progressio Cabinet can produce many works and innovations that support the existence of Unpad Choir in the choir,” said Birgitta Fortune Mumpuni as Chair of Unpad Choir for the 2022 period.

The election of Birgitta Fortune Mumpuni as Chair of Unpad Choir became the last agenda for the 2021 Unpad Choir Grand Meeting. The participants congratulated the Sahitya Cabinet for completing its responsibilities in 2021 and did not forget to encourage the Unpad Choir 2022 management, namely the Progressio Cabinet for a one-year term of office. forward.
